Cooking Recommendations

  1. Prep: pull the meat gently out of the shell through the cut made, leaving meat attached to the tail.
  2. Spread meat on top of shell and fan out the tail.
  3. Season with salt & pepper or your favorite seafood spice before steaming, if desired.
  4. Set up a steamer and pre-heat to 205 to 210 degrees.
  5. Place prepped lobster tail in steamer and steam 4 to 5 minutes — do not over steam.
  6. Check internal temperature with a thermometer; serve with a lemon wedge and melted butter.
